Pokemon

Pokemon was a huge part of my childhood. I would go as far as to say that it was my childhood. Anyone who has watched Pokemon has probably experienced the feeling and the want to become a Pokemon trainer. The 2ds games are fantastic. The pixel art has a sort of charm to it and the sprites of the pokemon are, in my opinion much more lovable than the 3ds models. Of course, there are a few 3ds Pokemon games that I think are good. However, they do not have the same kind of energy as the 2d sprites. This is also especially since it just looks like GameFreak is reusing the 3d sprites from previous games. Overall, I would give it a 7/10

Mario

Most people who have a computer know who this red hatted italian plumber is. Mario was also a huge part of my childhood. I think that the Mario Franchise is fantastic. Not only is it a platform game, there are other variants such as Mario party and my personal favorite, Mario Kart. There is a certain aspect of Mario that makes me atttracted to it. The spinoff Luigi's Mansion series is also one that is very entertaining. In addition, The "Mario and Sonic Olympics" series also brings a different sense of "fun" to the game's franchise. I would give this franchise a 7.5/10

Tetris

Tetris is certainly not a special or the most creative game on the face of the earth. As a person who plays Tetris, I would not go as far to say that I would always play it during my free time. However, there is an addicting factor to Tetris. Once you start playing it, it gets quite hard to stop. Something about making lines disappear makes it satisfying. Tetris also brought into the idea of a "Battle Royale" and I think that it was a great idea because it makes the game even more intense as you are fighting against 98 other players. I would give it a 6.5/10

Wii

The Wii series brought a whole new idea to the Video Game community by using motion control. Although one may say that this is a good idea, I personally was not a huge fan of it. Sometimes the remote would suddenly die or completely go crazy which made it very frustrating sometimes to play on the Wii. However, the games the Wii brought were very entertaining. Their games brought entertainment while also providing exersize. Since the Wii remote used motion, Wii took advantage of that and made sport games which required a lot of movement. I would give it a 5/10

PUBG

PUBG was a game that swept the video game community by storm and is one of the biggest video game communities. Up until recently, most FPS games were about 5v5 or capture the flag. However, it brought the concept of Battle Royale which is something I enjoy. Overall PUBG is a enjoyable game. However, the community made the game hatable. The community would use racist, homophobic, and sexist slurs and the majority of the community was considered "Toxic" I woudl give it a 3/10
