Mario Kart Series
The first game in the Mario Kart series is Super Mario Kart for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1992. Its development was overseen by Shigeru Miyamoto, the Japanese designer of many successful Nintendo games including Super Mario Bros. Darran Jones of NowGamer suggests that the success of Super Mario Kart resulted from the Super Mario characters, and being a new type of racing game. In this game a player can use special items to either attack, get faster, or protect him or herself.

The first Mario Kart was released on 1992 after the introduction of the Mario franchise characters. Although it was made for non-nintendo product, it was complimented for the new genre of racing games. The first mario kart was on 2D. but it still gained a huge popularity.
Name: Mario Kart DS
Mario Kart DS was a first mario kart that was playable on Nintendo's own consols. The characters and carts became more 3D like and the maps had a huge improvement from previous games. Plus, the benefit of playing amywhere greatly changed the racing genre.
Name: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Mario cart 8 deluxe is the most recent mario kart that was released in 2020. Remastered version of Mario Kart 7 from 3DS, the video quality, freedom, and character choice greatly improved. In addition, new moved were added such as gliding, water propelling, and hovering.
