Eisenhower coin is a dollar coin issued in 30 years after the peace dollar. It is produced in copper-nickel clad instead of silver because of rises of bullion prices in 1965 .
The coin depicts the portrait of President Dwight D. Eisenhower on the obverse, And its reverse shows an image honoring the 1969 Apollo 11 Moon mission. It has a Diameter of 38.1 mm (1.5 in) and thickness of 2.58 mm (0.1 in), which is largest among the dollar coins.
